The QA technical Analyst role is responsible for creating automation test scripts that will help the QA team and Plan Build team in their work efforts of building and/or testing benefit plans. The QA technical analyst will also work on maintaining these test scripts and build a deployment method for all departments in need of the automation test and/or coding macro scripts. The QA technical analyst will help track and report testing defects and workflow activity of QA projects.


  • Create and Maintain automation test and coding scripts.
  • Ownership and maintenance of reports for Benefit Plan QA and Plan Build.
  • Document, socialize, and triage new and ongoing automation requirements for department.
  • Ability to identify gaps and data analysis in support of identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Engage with other internal departments to promote quality for the company.
  • Proficient ability to generate reports for management consumption.
  • Proficient ability to communicate effectively with others about automation and technical needs for the department.
  • Leads discussions with vendors and other functional IT departments to support automation and/or identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Performs other duties to meet department goals.


  • Bachelor's degree or 4+ years' experience in PBM industry.
  • Working knowledge of VBA, MS Office and SQL
  • Experience with Attachmate emulator Macro development
  • Proficient in query in RxClaim and SQL.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent management and organizational skills
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and background check
  • Working knowledge of health insurance or pharmaceutical industry preferred
