Description:

The Financial Analyst is responsible for managing network pricing and analytics for both client and pharmacy contracts. Responsibilities include working with and creating large datasets to maintain and track both pharmacy and client performance. Development and maintenance of analytics, dashboards, and KPI reporting will be essential to the role in efficiently monitoring performance. This person will be involved with network performance and analytics, and will be help track and implement margin opportunities and initiatives within the pharmacy network.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and automating client/pharmacy reporting and analytics, understand how to interpret data and disseminate results accurately to business stakeholders.
  • Maintain and improve existing reporting. Implement reporting enhancements according to business needs.
  • Understands how to interpret and work with large data-sets. Able to summarize data into business insights and communicate results to senior leadership.
  • Monitor client and pharmacy pricing/performance initiatives to meet company performance goals.
  • Work closely with the business to develop, recommend and establish strategies, plans, and processes to improve profitability and cost efficiencies.
  • Produce clear, well-formatted reports that communicate a clear, compelling message for their stakeholders.
  • Develop policies and procedures that will lead to improved efficiencies.

 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in economics, finance, analytics or equivalent field
  • 0 - 2 years of economics or finance experience
  • Proficient computer skills including the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Preferred: Tableau experience, SQL experience/knowledge
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence others
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be able to travel up to 10% of the time
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and background check
  • Working knowledge of health insurance or pharmaceutical industry preferred
